Mini Dance is an introductory program for young dancers. No dance experience needed!

Specifically designed for JK to Gr. 2 and covers the fundamentals of jazz and ballet through fun and creative movement. There will be a short recital for parents to enjoy at the end of the course.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Mrs. Catherine Yiu began dancing at the age of 10. During her years as a dancer, Mrs. Yiu trained in many styles including: Chinese Dance, Ballet and Lyrical. During these years, Mrs. Yiu studied under the Beijing Dance Academy (BDA) Chinese Dance Graded Examination (CDGE) Syllabus and was a certified BDA/CDGE Gr. 1-3 teacher. She is currently a student of National Ballet School Adult program.
As a dancer, Mrs. Yiu continues to be a choreographer and performer for multiple church children musical and evangelistic events.
As a dance teacher, Mrs. Yiu is passionate about teaching her students to feel joyful, confident, and inspired by their gifts of movement from the Lord.
