Non-Faculty and Support Staff

Peoples Christian Academy’s administration, faculty and staff are chosen for their ability to reflect the principles and values as outlined in our Philosophy of Education. These Christian faculty members are highly qualified and dedicated teachers who see their career choice as a ministry to impart Christian values to the next generation of leaders. Faculty and administrative staff participate in devotions and seek to be examples and mentors for the students. A code of conduct for staff is outlined in the appropriate manuals and handbooks. There is a strong partnership with parents to reinforce Christian and family values in the students’ lives. Some of our faculty members are even PCA alumni.

As the Business Manager, I oversee both financial and operational functions; managing support staff in finance, HR, facilities, IT, marketing and office administration, to ensure smooth operations. With a background in business administration management, and a dedication to supporting organizations, I am committed to upholding values and mission of our school.

I am truly blessed to work in the finance office at PCA. My role is to support PCA administratively so that the teachers can be equipped to serve the students while fulfilling PCA’s mission ‘to prepare the whole person to reach the whole world for Christ.’ Also, as an Alumni mother I can testify to the eternal value of Christian education and the Biblical training that my children received while at PCA.

  • HR / Benefits/ Payroll Administrator
Administration - Executive Diploma, Seneca College

I feel truly privileged to be part of the PCA community and its amazing mission. In a Christian-based working environment, it is easy to be open with my beliefs because I am surrounded by other people with the same beliefs as mine. Here is a wonderful place that I can work and practice by Jesus's words, "Just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another" (John 13:34). It is also a blessing to watch the children grow, shine, and fly high under the teachers' love, care, and guidance with God's love here at PCA. God is amazing and His grace is always sufficient!

B.Ed - OISE University of Toronto
    (PCA Alumnus)

As a former student of PCA, I am blessed to have been mentored by some of the most caring and God-loving people I know. I believe PCA teachers are called to not only prepare students for whatever challenges they might face in the world but to help them thrive in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I believe we are all gifted in some way for the purpose of pointing others to Christ. My hope is for these students to know the Lord and to use whatever they have been blessed with to help others do the same.

  • MS-SS Admin Assistant

What a privilege to be teaching at PCA again. It is such a blessing to watch the students discover who God has created them to be and to serve in this process. I love that
what we are doing at PCA is equipping each student, in partnership with their families, to realize who are they are in Christ, to serve their communities and to be ready to give an answer for the hope that they have.

Psalm 127:3 says: “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.”

  • B.Sc.N., University of Toronto
M.B.A., Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto

Over the last ten years as part of the PCA family, I have experienced the immensely positive learning environment and high academic standards PCA provides as a faith-based school. After spending many years in the non-profit environment, and more recently 15+ years in the corporate environment, I took a step of faith and walked away from that environment during the pandemic, not knowing where God would lead me. Two years later, I was excited to join the PCA Team working on Patron Relations, Fundraising, and Special Projects. We can take leaps of faith because God has promised "For I know the plans I have for you...plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11. God has a future for every child that attends this school. We have an important part in nurturing them towards their futures, along with all the children in our lives whether they attend this school or not.

It has been an incredible journey ever since our children were born. God entrusted them to us so we could bring them up to be Christ's faithful servants. PCA is very important to me because I believe my children can experience God's love in this nurturing environment, and build a strong Christian foundation to face any life challenges for years to come. I have witnessed the teachers' genuine love and care for the students and for each other, and I am committed to introduce our vision and mission to the community who is yet to know about PCA. God's amazing grace is always sufficient!

As Christians, we need to go where God calls us; I feel truly blessed to have been called to teach at PCA. Teaching here allows me the opportunity to serve God by serving the next generation, to love the students as He first loved me. As a husband and a father of four, family means the world to me. That's really what the PCA community is: a family.

  • Day Custodian

“Heart to God and Hand to Man”. I hope to display my love for God by showing my faith in action. I have been called to serve God by serving the people at PCA. Part of that is being faithful in the small things (Luke 16:10) that God ask of me, so that doors to bigger things might open for me to do more for His kingdom. At the end of my life, I hope to hear from the lips of Jesus, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matt 25:21)

  • Evening Custodian (Lead)

I serve as an evening caretaker at PCA. I am so grateful to God for this job that He provided for me. My favourite Bible verse is John 10:10: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

“Having attended PCA all the way from Kindergarten to Grade 12, I was blessed to be nurtured in a godly environment, fostered to grow in my faith and understand the truth of the gospel. Teachers demonstrated what it means it to “take up the cross daily” (Luke 9:23), by instilling truth in their academic lessons, and taking time to support students as if we were their own family – a hallmark of true Christian community.”
