Scientific studies have proven time and again how music lessons such as piano in early childhood boost brain capacity and intelligence. Children who are introduced to music at an early age are less prone to anxiety and depression attacks as adults. Music even improves their creativity and helps them express their feelings better, improves memory and math skills, enhances motor skills and coordination, boosts up confidence, develops social skills, deeper understanding of Arts, and alleviates stress.
Several research studies showed that by learning any skill in groups will greatly reduce the student dropout rate. When students associate their musical activities with meaningful social interaction, their learning becomes internally driven, with less pressure and is more enjoyable.
This class introduces children to music in a fun and positive environment. Your child will enjoy singing, keyboard activities, movement, and listening to music.
Each 30-minute session will be shared by two students, meticulously organized to enhance learning efficiency and concentration.
At the commencement of the lesson, one student will engage in direct, one-on-one instruction at the piano with the teacher. The segment will focus on technical exercises, including scales, finger strength, and hand coordination, as well as repertoire development, rhythm accuracy, musical expression, and addressing specific challenges.
Concurrently, the second student will work independently on their theory book. This will include written exercises such as note reading, rhythm practice, intervals, key signatures, musical terminology, and other theory concepts tailored to their level. The teacher will assign specific pages in advance to ensure clarity on their assignments.
After 15 minutes, the students will rotate. The student who was engaged in theory will take their turn at the piano for individual instruction, while the student who was at the piano will continue with their designated theory exercises.
This structured rotation ensures:
* Each student receives 15 minutes of personalized piano instruction.
* Each student completes 15 minutes of productive theory work.
* No student experiences idle or waiting time.
The full 30 minutes is utilized efficiently and effectively.
