


Comprehensive French
THIS PROGRAM IS OFFERED TO GRADES SK – 2
September 16 – December 9 (13 lessons)
Every Tuesday, 4:00pm – 5:00pm
Maximum 12 students; minimum 4 students
This Comprehensive French program is designed based on the French National Curriculum and the French Canadian Curriculum. Students will learn grammar/conjugation, writing, reading fluency/comprehension along with spontaneous and fluent oral communication.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Both instructors are current faculty members at Champions Franco Academy.
Yasmine is a passionate Ontario certified teacher with 15 years of experience in the private and public, English and French school systems. She grew up in a francophone country where she completed her early studies. She holds a bilingual Bachelor of Arts, majored in Psychology (Glendon, York University). In addition, Yasmine holds a Bachelor of Education (Faculté d’éducation, Université d’Ottawa) as well as a Master of Education (Leadership, Evaluation, Curriculum and Policy Studies, Faculté d’éducation, Université d’Ottawa.
Mme Aghajan is a fully bilingual Montessori and ECE-certified teacher with over 25 years experience of teaching and tutoring French in private institutions in Ontario. Additionally, she has several certifications relating to child behaviour and special needs from the Toronto Catholic School Board. Mme Aghajan is a life learner who is always keeping up to date on the newest theories and practices relating to teaching and child development. Prior to immigrating to Canada, Mme Aghajan was a French language instructor in North Africa (Algeria). When she is not teaching, she enjoys painting, classical music, yoga, art and cooking.
