April 4 – June 13, 2025 (10 lessons)

Every Friday, 5:00pm – 5:45pm
*Please note there is no class on April 18 (Good Friday)

Maximum 12 students; minimum 6 students

This fun-filled class introduces children to rhythm and movement in an engaging environment. Students will develop strength, focus, and teamwork as they learn simple choreographies and explore creating different shapes with their bodies. Using simple props and imaginative exercises, children will learn basic dance techniques (including the Graham technique), building a vocabulary for dance while gaining an understanding of alignment, rhythm, and musicality.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Debra Su began her dance training in Taiwan at age 5, focusing on ballet and traditional Chinese dance. After moving to Canada, she continued her professional training in modern dance at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and graduated from the School of Toronto Dance Theatre in 2008. Ms. Su advanced her training through the Teacher Training Program at Canada’s National Ballet School in 2016 to further equip herself as a dance instructor. She has also been actively involved in worship dance at various church gatherings. With over 10 years of teaching and choreographing experience, Ms. Su is passionate about helping others experience joy and freedom through movement.
