Ambassadors on the Field
Today’s soccer tournament was a meaningful opportunity for our team to compete, learn, and come together on Truth and Reconciliation Day. It reminded us that respect, perseverance, and how we respond to adversity are just as important as what happens on the field. As coaches, it was challenging to watch a few difficult calls go against our team. There were moments of frustration and disappointment, but our players continued to encourage one another, compete with determination, and represent our school with respect and sportsmanship.
We were incredibly proud of our team—and in the end, we won the tournament! More importantly, we were thankful for God’s protection and provision throughout the day. All of our students remained safe and injury-free, and the Lord blessed us with beautiful weather.
On a day that reminds us of the importance of respect and reconciliation, our team experienced firsthand the value of responding with grace, even when things are difficult.
