This morning, we heard from Brad Buser, the father of Brooks Buser. Brad shared with us his 22-year-long ministry in Papua New Guinea, and challenged us to give all of our lives – our futures – to King Jesus. It was a powerful message from Luke 14. We then had the privilege of participating in Spectrum ministries, where we served children in a less-fortunate neighbourhood located in Granjas. We washed their hair, we washed their feet, we treated lice, and we distributed clothing. It was a wonderful opportunity to share the love of Jesus to these children in a tangible way. In the evening, we were blessed to hear from Carlos, who was previously incarcerated for a lengthy period of time. He came to know the Lord during his time in prison, and now is a chaplain that ministers to drug addicts, alcoholics, the poor, and pastors a local church in Tijuana. Praise God for His amazing work of salvation in the lives of men and women!
