We began the day with an early session at another public school in Orlando. Erik shared his testimony, Daisy shared an object lesson, and Richard taught about God’s curse and promise using an object lesson. There were over 60 students in attendance at this morning program!
Afterwards we returned to the house for a group devotional, lunch, training and preparation for the next day. The team also had time to relax, sing songs by the piano, and enjoy each others’ company.
In the late afternoon, we split into two teams and returned to the same area where we held our Kids Club the day before. We prayed for more children to come join our clubs, and by God’s grace, both Kids Clubs either doubled or tripled in attendance! Praise God! Both teams had the same program format – Bible verse hangman, song, object lesson, sketchboard evangelism lesson, Bible worksheet, snacks, then games. All kids attending the clubs were enthusiastic about the entire program.
We feel that the Holy Spirit is moving through our team as we experience team unity and boldness. Please continue to pray for us. Though all the members of our team in Orlando are healthy, our hosts are fighting through some illnesses. One of our Open Air Campaigners staff members, Diane, had an emergency root canal this afternoon. Our Orlando Children’s Church host, Peter, was also ill today and could not join us in our public school visits. Thank you for partnering with us in prayer.
