Last night, the KC staff and students gave us a wonderful welcome ceremony, showering us with singing, food, welcome gifts, and an encouraging message. We were delighted to meet all the staff and students, and could see how much they had been waiting to meet us also!
This morning, we began our first day of spoken English camp. We enjoyed getting to know the KC students better, as we split into small groups to practice their spoken English. We also had the privilege of hearing one of the KC students give their testimony, and experienced wonderful fellowship with all of them through the singing of worship songs and their teaching of the Telugu language to us. In the afternoon, we drove to the city core to visit an Islamic temple and mosque. Our team had an eye-opening and educational experience, and were burdened to pray for the Indian people.
We are thankful to God that the good news has reached some of the people living in this city, and that the people have God’s Word translated into their language. Please continue to pray that more people in this city would be saved, and that we would be well-rested and full of joy and love for the KC students.
