Good evening, the team woke up this morning and began our day with a study of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus from Matthew 10. After breakfast, we loaded up our vehicles and headed to the community centre on the reservation. We had a beautiful church service in the community centre. After church, we headed down stairs and enjoyed soup and sandwiches.
Shirley Hamilton the founder of DayStar Native Outreach shared with us the story of how this ministry was birthed and how it has grown in the the thirty years of its existence on Wikwemikong.
Although the students are tired, they are eager to begin a week of ministry tomorrow. Please praise God for his continued kindness to us as a team and for the advancement of the gospel among the First Nations peoples, especially here in Wiky.
